The trilogy is complete. 2015 Part 3 is here. This is some of the stuff I got on video from August and December. I saw some bands, lived in San Francisco, traveled, worked on more TV, did some solid camping and grew closer to a lot of my friends.
Japan TV commercials are my favorite, they can be bizarre in unimaginably creative ways, have such amazing production value, and, most of all, they are so uniquely from Japan. For example: for the past decade, Tommy Lee Jones has starred in canned coffee ads as an emotionless alien helping people. There are so many products that I only ever see TV ads for in Japan, such as for instant ramen and toilets with cutting edge technology. Here, in no particular order, are my top ten favorite Japanese TV ads from the past year.
I watch a lot of videos online, probably more than I watch television or movies. So, like in years past (see 2013 & 2014), I put together a list of my favorite videos from the Internet of the past year. These videos range from quick laughs to surreal and experimental to emotional. Some are professionally produced, some took one person less than a minute to make with a phone. I hope you enjoy at least one of them.
More of my favorite media from 2015 coming soon.
